Again, we keep saying it over and over, nothing beats a classic family based diner because of the high level of quality of comfort foods and the great, authentic welcoming atmosphere. This place has both and we're happy to share it with you all. They carry great meals such as the tasty Matzo Ball Soup that is quite filling, or the Frito Platters that are great to share with friends and family. Also, just in case you folks were not aware, they have two fantastic spots in Philadelphia to visit. The other locations other than this one featured in our review is located at 2101 South St. Since 2005, Ellen Mogell and Jeb Woody have been serving up honest home style dishes, combining their East Coast and classic Southern styles to bring your Honey's. They've coined a new term in the culinary world, "Southern Jewish" and we think it's brilliant. Some amazing items here from the menu include their Breakfast Bomb, Enfrijoladas, Short Stack with Mornin' Meat, Honey Cristo, Fried Chicken Chipotle Benedict or their Pastrami Reuben Sandwich. The service here is also very pleasant and courteous which always goes a long way in our books. One of the great things here is their consistency with the meals. Meaning, you will always get the same great meal each time you visit. If you live here or are visiting, this is your go-to breakfast and lunch spot in the Northern Liberty area of Philly. Without any hesitation, Honey's Sit-N-Eat restaurant is a five start success.
