One of the most memorable cafe diners that you will ever eat at, it's surely a place that you'll tell your friends all about and make many more visits to in time. With 3 generations of history, menu items such as the classic Chicken-Fried Steak and handmade Onion Rings are great, but there is so much more awaiting you. Opened up in 1938, the start of WW2 for the history buffs out there, they've done it their way and continue to do so. With the original neon on the outside and outdated knotty pine on the inside - this place is truly one of a kind to put it mildly. It really is amazing to come across patrons that have been coming here since they were kids and now are grandparents themselves. Places like this that are big chain joints are truly a gem and you haven't really experienced true old-school, diner style dining until you come here. Always friendly service, fast service and helpful service. Other great choices for you may include their Cheese Enchiladas, the classic BLT, Onion Rings, and then the homemade pies are always a great finisher. We tend to take an entire pie home with us and have it the next day.
