About THREE SISTERS CAFE & BAKERY

Let's just start off by stating that this amazing place has been around since 1896. Wow. Obviously not the identical cafe which it is today, but it used to be a historical Victorian house at first. So the location has plenty of history for the city of Indianapolis and it's great to visit for that reason in addition to the cafe and bakery it has transformed in to. In this day, it's a great place for Southern style cooking, and it's important to note that they cater to both meat lovers and vegetarians with exciting menus for both preferences. So much goodness here, but from memory, be sure to try their Blueberry Goat Cheese Pie or Ham-and-Cheese Sandwich that may sound basic, but it's easily the best you'll ever bite in to. When nearby, it's the spot for American breakfast and lunch fare served fresh and to order, with a genuine smile. Starting up in 1992 under a different name, it officially became 3 Sisters Cafe as we know it today in 2005. In 2014, they had also moved to a new location, a bit further down the same street so still convenient and near the original spot. Over the years it has become our spot of choice for a late breakfast, which is the best breakfast anyways right? Take advantage of their outdoor porch seating area which is perfect during those warmer Indianapolis mornings and afternoons. The food here, is stellar. Always homemade fresh and full of love and flavor. A spot that you mention to friends and neighbors once you're done, it's simply that good not to share with loved ones. Again, plenty of daily regular items on the menu, but always ask for or look out for their daily specials which never fail to impress. Three Sisters Cafe has always been one of our favorite spots, and we're sure it will be yours as well.
