If you're in the area.. you'll never hear the name Alkaline without their twin.. Ramen! And it's all for good reason as this really is the best spot not only in Norfolk, but the state to find this time-tested traditional dish. Now while they do stay true to traditional methods, it's also a much more modern twist as well to bring out the best of both worlds. These guys do justice to all sort of familiar Asian style street foods as well such as okonomiyaki, tacos Asian style, wings and much more. It's a very friendly place that really encourages an open concept of social and culinary worlds. It really is a site to behold! They do their best to really take the stigma out of Asian foods and make it accessible to all. You may already be aware, but they operate out of the great Pendulum Meat market which we've also covered in our Norfolk guide. It may appear small but we really love the atmosphere it creates.
