With the recent "100 Best Greek Restaurants in the US" awards handed out both in 2011 and 2012, Aristo's truly exemplifies what authentic Greek cuisine is all about, right in the middle of Salt Lake City. With several other awards, Aristo's Greek Restaurant is truly the place to be if you're in the mood for classic Mediterranean dishes prepared at it's best. With an inviting yet casual atmosphere, Aristo's comes with class along with a convenient full service bar to wet your tongue. While visiting Aristo's, you certainly must try our personal favorites of Grilled Octopus plate and the Lamb Tacos that leave an impression unlike anything else. Furthermore, the Greek classics at Aristo's such as their Chicken Gyro (or any Gyro on the menu for that matter), Hummus, freshly baked Pita Breads and always fresh Spanakopita with Mediterranean bread are splendid. Also, try the popular Lamb Chops, Avgolemono Soup, Dolmanthes and finish off with the Lemon-Cake Desserts that are to die for. However, once again as it saddens us to report, since our visits Aristo's has closed their doors permanently. 2019 was their final year, after a successful 16 year run in Utah. While there remain many Greek spots in Salt Lake City, none truly hit Mezze plates as this spot did. It will be missed, but we are thankful for their years of service.
