A rare treat but in our eyes a true gem in the city of Los Angeles, so be sure to make every effort to swing by this restaurant when you're by. This Ethiopian eatery is truly as authentic as it gets and as most people don't really have any idea of what it entails or wrongly what it does, it's an amazing experience you'll return to time and time again. So many specialties and a strong vegan selection that will even satisfy a meat lover. It's an interesting fact that Azla’s children, all six of them follow the vegetarian lifestyle which inspired her to convert the traditional cuisine to that style. The key aspect to the success here is that they are just as flavorful and rich as before. With the help of her daughter, she made history by opening the first Ethiopian style restaurant in the city and has continued to flourish and set new standards since. Again, if you think vegan is bland and tasteless, this is the place that has removed that from the English language. Come on by.
