If you've ever wanted the most possible, freshest seafood available when dining, this place does it literally
from the water to the table with each meal they serve. It really doesn't get any better than that. Try the
local daily catch or the popular Blackwater's Shrimp and Grits option that never fails to impress your taste
buds. When in Georgia, this has always been near the top of our foodie list when it comes to authentic style
casual Cajun cuisine. Originally, they come into the culinary world back in 2000, during December and right
from the start, they were the must-go spot for southern coastal cuisine! If you've never been to or have even
heard of Saint Simons Island, then the trip by itself is fully justified just to visit this spot to dine at.
Local fisherman catch and delivery the ingredients and fish daily.. so you can rest assured you are always
getting fresh, never frozen meals here. It makes all the difference in the world and for those whom appreciate
good seafood, you'll notice the quality immediately here. But, as things tend to go in the food industry, we
have to share the sad news that this spot has closed it's doors for the final time. They are no longer in
business and we haven't been able to find a suitable seafood restaurant replacement since. We were very lucky
to have visited this spot on many occasions and will miss it dearly.
