Located in the historical Little Haiti district, Blue Collar serves up a grand collection of amazing eats; much of which has been passed down from their grandmother and her timeless recipes which remain a family secret. Southern, low-country classics are freshly prepared each day at Blue Collar and help make this location a staple in the community for many generations. With so many wonderful dishes to choose from, it really is difficult to pick out a bad apple. With our many visits to Blue Collar since it appeared on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives the standouts in our visits include their Big Ragout Sandwiches, Spicy Oxtail platters, finger licking good Beer Braised Baby Back Ribs, Bread Pudding for dessert, Jambalaya made fresh each day, Whole Fried Snapper that is always a winner, Cuban Spring Rolls, Shrimp and Grits, Braised Lamb Necks and of course their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The 70's inspired decor and style really is a hit here and set Blue Collar apart from the rest. It doesn't get more American than this spot and the comfort loaded menu will make you a happy customers - each and every time.
