Simply delicious with every bite, but we tend to think that pretty much everything on the menu here at Chilam Balam is just like that. It doesn't matter when you come as they rotate their exciting seasonal-based Mexican dishes here to ensure there is always something new to try. Located in a basement setting, we love the underground and edgy vibe these folks offer. One aspect you need to keep in mind, and that we absolutely love, is that it has a BYOB policy. That's right, you can bring your own liquor here and enjoy the meal on your terms. Another amazing aspect this place enforces is the farm-to-table philosophy. They only use local and organic ingredients to support local farmers and ranchers to not only bring you the freshest ingredients for their dishes, but to also support the local family which is amazing. The owner of this amazing spot is the one and only Soraya Rendon and together with Chef Natalie Oswald - Chilam Balam is the success in Chicago which you can experience for yourselves, today. Plates are on the smaller side yet very colorful, flavorful and filling without stuffing.
