This local cider works spot has been producing apples since 1869 and continues to this day. Clendenen's Cider Works is fully owned and operated by a family which took over the business back in 1908. Without question, Clendenen's Cider Works is perhaps the best place to get your Apple Cider in North America today. That is a bold statement but it's simply so great to the last drop, it's an easy decision for us to make. The amazing orchard grows over 30 different types of apples from over 700 trees. How impressive is that? Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has featured only this sole cider works due to Guys childhood experience here. All the daily work at Clendenen's Cider Works is still mainly done the old-fashioned way by hand and the use of their original 1916 apple pressing machine. This aspect truly makes the entire process and end product so unique it's unmatched anywhere else.
