If we're forced to narrow it down to one item from Defonte's Sandwich Shop, we say go all in for the Sinatra Special. This amazing feast of a sandwich is a perfect blend of freshly carved Roast Beef, Italian home-made Mozzarella and the special ingredient... Fried Eggplant. Trust us friends, this is a delicious masterpiece of a meal and you'll love every single bit of it. Since the 1920's, this Sandwich shop in the heart of Brooklyn has continue to set the trends from the first day, to this very day of us writing or raving review. The original owner Nick Defonte, came from Mori di Bari, Italy with a dream to better his life and share his Italian heritage with the people of New York. Service here is as friendly as possible and truly makes the entire process a simple and memorable one. So much to choose from the menu here, many of which have been there for a hundred years.
