Locations Guy Fieri visits in the USA - Places to eat comfort home-style, healthy, gourmet & fast food meals!
There is nothing quite like a meal that is made 100% completely from scratch. All fresh ingredients and preparation done the same day
of your cooking is priceless. This is exactly where Chef Woodham excels beyond his competition and why we recommend his cafe. When you
swing by the Dixie Supply Bakery and Cafe, we strongly suggest you try the classic Southern cooking such as Chicken Fried Chicken and
for dessert, the Bourbon Bacon Pecan Pie is to die for. BUT, once again we have to pass on saddening news of this famous location
closing their doors. After an amazing 10 years of service, due to the owners death, they decided to close the doors. It's really
impossible to find another spot then or now that came up with better homemade, heartwarming goodies. Since 2007 they truly excelled
in every sense of the term through their food and most importantly, warm and friendly service. Again, all home-made which is really
a rare thing these days as everything tends to be pre-made, frozen etc. The quality, flavors and even bite texture was unmatched. Some
of the favorites which we loved to order were the Chicken and Waffle Sandwiches, Pecan Sticky Bun which was huge, Breakfast Egg, Cheese
and Bacon Biscuits, Fried Green Tomato BLT, Bacon Bourbon Pecan Pie, State Street Chicken Sandwich, Tomato Pie with Sweet Potato Cornbread,
Blueberry Pancakes and plenty more. The Dixie Supply Bakery and Cafe will be sorely missed.
