The dough used here is so unique and original that the establishment had to be named after it. Once you taste a few of these pies for yourselves, you'll tend to agree and understand why. Also, rest assured this is 100% authentic Neapolitan pizza that you're getting here, not the typical knock-offs. Experience the flavors offered here such as their daily fresh Prosciutto slices and their unique Homemade Cheeses just to name a few awesome ingredients you can add to your pizza. Back in 2007, this spot opened up thanks to the hard work and determination of Lori and Doug Horn. They have expanded to two amazing locations in San Antonio, with one being at S. Alamo St. and the other on Blanco Rd. The cafe-like atmosphere here is almost like being over in Europe, we love that it's smack in the middle of Texas! They also offer season menu items based on seasonal ingredients that make the menu fun and always changing, while keeping the favorite classics in place. We must also mention the Burrata. Friends, if you've never had this masterpiece in your lifetimes before, you need to get here as soon as possible and see what you've been missing out on. With multiple types of Burratas here, they also have a sampler dish where you can find the best one for you. Portions here are also magnificent and they don't skimp on anything here, and we mean that. Also, the wood-fire experience is something that you also must taste.. you'll truly have a difficult time going back to your standard big brand pizza places you may be used to.
