About DUARTE'S TAVERN

History is something that comes hand in hand with classic diners, but this location sets the bar extremely high with a long standing 100 year history. Formerly a bar, this diner includes classics such as their mouth-watering Crab Cioppino and Artichoke Soup but offers plenty of other delicious items to choose from. Just an easy find for American type dishes that have stood the test of time, a centuries worth to be precise. We love the original old-school themed dining room which includes their knotty-pine-panel walls. Yummy food and even better service which is one of the highlights when you come here. Just truly enjoyable service that isn't forced or fake like modern big chain usually push. The staff truly enjoys their job and interacting with the customers. If the tables have a slight wait, you can grab a chair at the bar and order right away if you're in a rush. Both dining experiences are equally fantastic. Most old-school diners don't offer any freebies, but this one does. The warm sourdough bread loaf with butter is easily a highlight and comes complimentary.
