The Ferndale Meat Co restaurant just happens to be the very spot the Guy Fieri himself used
to work at after school in his early days of this crazy Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives adventure he is currently on. Guy Fieri clearly recalls
that he loaded the Beef Jerky in to the famous outdoor Smoker time and time again. I hard yet rewarding job that helped make him the culinary
hard work genius he is today. Ferndale Meat Co is the go-to local Butcher Shop which has always been and continues to be a family-run local
business. Curt runs Ferndale Meat Co with his sister, since the day they took over the establishment back in mid-1993. Curt is world known
for his Italian Sausage recipe that is made from scratch several times per week and sells out regularly. A 50/50 blend of Beef and Pork, it's
a long-standing secret recipe from his grandmother who was raised in Northern Italy. It's truly delicious and pairs perfectly with their Mashed
Potatoes using local potatoes for farmers. Plus their side-serving of fresh Apple sauce that is also prepared in-house each week. Each time
we have the pleasure to visit, we are equally thoroughly impressed with the menu, service, pricing and overall experience. Amazing spot in
Ferndale and a must-see for any true foodie especially when it comes to Butcher shops featured on #DDD.
