From our hundreds upon hundreds of visits to many of the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurants following Guy Fieri, we confidently call Humboldt Sweets the new kids on the block in Ferndale. However, in their short time they have certainly made a mark for themselves in a powerful way. Humboldt Sweets in Ferndale specialize in freshly prepared Deserts and incredibly Pastries since 2012. Humboldt Sweets is a genuine Ma and Pa establishment which has perfected a combination of just the right amount of sweets with savory dishes that will keep you coming back time and time again. Humboldt Sweets are Ferndale famous for their daily baked Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls which are truly the biggest you've ever seen. We mean it, these Cinnamon Rolls are huge and easily a favorite to share. Gooey, tender and just absolutely killer with every bite they will beat any other you've tried in your lifetimes. In addition, we highly recommend that you try their now famous Ham and Cheddar Scones that are topped off with delicious and rich locally sourced Bacon loaded Gravy. Humboldt Sweets is locally owned and operated, so you truly get to experience made-from-scratch dishes that put diners on the map. Spots like these truly make Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives the success it is and bring to millions of viewers the opportunity to find them. However it seems that perhaps 2022 or 2023 Humboldt Sweets closed their doors and remains permanently closed. We hope it may re-open at a future date, we can only cross our fingers and hope.
