You got it, this is heaven for any garlic lover as the chef is never shy about this extremely popular ingredient we all love. The great part about this joint is the blend of Asian, Mexican, Cajun and Italian flavors to create the intense and impressive menu. Our first choice every time we visit the city of Santa Rosa, and when we arrive it's the unforgettable Sashimi Won Tacos that contain special authentic Eel sauce. Interesting fact is the one and only star of our favorite DDD series, Guy Fieri invested in the Johnny Garlic's chain back in 1996. However, 20 years later in 2016 Guy pulled out and sold his shares to partner Steve Gruber. Over the years many amazing dishes came out straight from the Guy style we've become used to. Such as the many Seafood dishes, Volcano Chicken and the Donkey Sauce. After Guy left, the restaurants re-branded itself to Johnny Garlic's Craft Bar and Scratch Kitchen. However, in December of 2016, it closed it's door forever so unfortunately you can't visit this famous spot no longer. To reminisce, some other famous dishes which came out of here were the Cajun Hot Link Pasta, Sonoma salad, Buffalo BBQ Meatloaf, Cedar Plank Salmon, Creole Wrap and more. This spot will be missed.. but for now it's RIP.
