This is perhaps one of the most classic locations as some of the menu actually dates back to the early 50's and in our honest opinion the
menu is one of the best you'll come across when searching far and wide across American. There are plenty of seafood options available as
you may expect based on the name of the join. Our favorite choice by far is their Fried Whole Belly Clams, simply delicious. You'll always
find the local catch available each day in addition to daily specials and regular staples too. Great spot on the Essex river which allows
for terrific views from the dining room. Some people have complained about the service but we always have a pleasant experience and we
love the owner to bits. As most old-time joints still follow, be sure to bring cash as no other payment is available here. As expected,
prices are very reasonable and portions are more than handsome. In the summer time the lines can get long but always worth the wait and
if you're able to grab an outdoor patio table, we strongly suggest that as well.
