When you're in the Chehalis area in Washington state, this is perhaps the best Farm-to-Table dining spot that we could recommend to our loyal followers. An amazing selection of classical and traditional American style cuisine with an extensive drink list that shines with their wine list. We love everything about this spot from the service to the decor which has some amazing exposed brick on the walls which give an charming and welcoming feeling. The historic downtown Chehalis has many great spots to eat, but we feel Mackinaw's is the shining star. The take full advantage of the local farmers and produce to create one of the best menus we've ever seen. The one and only Chef Khan has taken her dreams, drive and work ethics to create this amazing place that you must visit. One amazing aspect here is that she creates an original menu each day, to take full advantage of the fresh, seasonal ingredients which are available. Since 2006 they have continued to bring in new faces and have return customers fill the tables each day. Much to try here and some of the standouts for us over the years have been the Cajun Shrimp appetizer, Pork Belly Ramen, Parmesan Crusted Fish, Fillet Mignon and much more. The drinks here are way beyond our expectations each time as well so be sure to pair something with your meal. Amazing service, welcoming spot and truly a hidden gem in the historic town of Chehalis.
