Locations Guy Fieri visits in the USA - Places to eat comfort home-style, healthy, gourmet & fast food meals!
The one thing you must order when you make your visit here is the traditional, secret recipe Grandmother's
Lobster Pie. We still don't know how they make the secret stuffing, but we try to figure it out each time. They
also provide a finger-licking good Codfish Cake and Seafood Chowder that will blow your mind. Basic name and
basic food made with skill, love and fresh ingredients. This no-frills spot is what American's diners are
all about and other should aim to duplicate. Comfort foods in the seafood category are some of the best you
can eat. They opened up their 1983 spot to provide a family-owned experience that you might get a sense of an
establishment that caters to homestyle dishes that supersedes your typical fast food, heartless experience.
The original owner is the famed Socrates “Louie” Toton, his vision and careful attention to quality and warm,
genuine customer service. They have maintained their original philosophy of treating each and every customer
as a guest in their home. There is so much more on the menu that you can choose from such as the Homemade
Chicken Pot Pie or the famous dessert known now all over Wells, the incredibly Maine Blueberry Chip Ice Cream.
Service here, as you might already have imagined from our write-up thus far, is prompt, efficient and helpful!
Coming here is also slightly stepping back in time, something you'll immediately appreciate and quickly realize
it's what's missing these days from the American dining scent. Come visit these great folks, totally worthwhile.
