Mama's Meatball is one of our very favorite Italian based restaurants in the state of California. When Guy and
his DDD crew made it to the city of San Luis Obispo at the end of 2024, they made sure to take full advantage of this diner and everything it holds dear. Easily
accessible in the Creamery Marketplace, Mama's Meatball is both cozy and inviting for all guests. Everything here from service to decor to the menu is 100%
authentically Italian - so you feel like you've entered Italy itself. Chef Nicola is the mastermind here and creates a menu that is an evolution of his lifetime
of experience with the Italian cuisine. Opened up in 2006, Mama's Meatball is the place where you'll experience meals which the owners would serve at their
own dining tables at home. You'll experience a truly innovative mix of contemporary with contemporary cuisine. Plenty of amazing meals here but some standouts
in our experience include the Gnocchi, Calamari Fritta, Braised Ribs with a side of Mac n Cheese, Arancini di Gamberi, Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Al Salmone,
