When in Hawaii, this is the hot spot for some real and authentic Italian food that will make even Sicily proud! Visiting Hawaii dozens of times over the years, this was a true treat to discover especially if you're in the mood for something different. The island food is always superb and makes the entire experience, but do make space for this spot in your hearts. We absolutely love the outdoor patio at this quaint yet popular trattoria in the city of Wailea. As you can already imagine, the food here is truly delicious but the neve rending (it seems) list of wines will make you smile as well. Any dining spot shines and succeeds from the roots and that involves our good friend Chef Matteo Mistura. With multiple awards and world wide recognition in the culinary world, he shares his passion and love of Italian food with you each day. Most of us are aware of the popular Italian choices which you will recognize on the menu but some highlights will continue to be their Kampachi, Upcountry Red Pizzette, Spaghetti Bolognese, Truffle Pizzette, Ahi Bruschetta, Seafood Pasta (freshly caught each day), Espresso Short Ribs, Braised Lamb Pappardelle and plenty more. Be sure to save room for their handmade desserts specials which often include their finger licking good Coconut Cannoli!
