A really fun and unique assortment of menu items which at first may not sound like a good idea, but trust us, when you dig your teeth in to it... you'll fall in love with. Try their favorites such as Yo Halla on the Square, French Toast or Meatloaf dishes that continue to be a hit. As they famously say here.. it's really is all about the LOVE OF FOOD here. American classic dishes here are plentiful but they always spice up the menu with new original concepts as well. It's all about a full day of eating here as they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Also, we need to point out that it's a place where you can come and truly be yourself.. not rush, expectations or judgment here. It was the year 1992 when they opened up in the sunny city of Jacksonville. To recap for those just arriving here to eat, the famous and most popular meals here are the unforgettable Fried Chicken and Waffles, Bold City Burger which has that fried jalapeno kick and the Iron City Meatloaf that is a good option to take away for the next day supper. It's not too often we'll use the word craveable, but it genuinely very fitting when it comes to the Metro Diner. With a few dozen locations now, this continues to be our very favorite. But that being said, it's amazing to be able to find a location near you when you need it. We have never heard a complain about the Metro Diner and are always very happy to recommend it to our readers.
