Locations Guy Fieri visits in the USA - Places to eat comfort home-style, healthy, gourmet & fast food meals!
If you've always wanted to visit an old-time classic drive-in like you see in the 50's and 60's movies, then this
is your lucky day. We really love this location and visit as often as possible to enjoy the atmosphere and great
food choices, like the Double Burger and Kentucky Poor Boy that will fill even the hungriest of eaters. It truly
does not get any more nostalgic than this classic spot that you will fall in love with at first sight. Coming
here is without question the quintessential Kentucky restaurant that you will check off your bucket list of
amazing spot to dine at when in Lexington. Joey Smiley opened up the Parkette Drive In 1951 and with their
latest renovations in 2008, they have kept up with the decades of service while holding on to so much that makes
them so unique these days. If you've grown up in the area, chances are good that you came here as a kid and
have since brought your own kids or grand kids to eat here as well. It's a full circle experience and the best
part is that you can still order the same old-school menu items you do so many generations ago. Everything here
is made in the kitchen from scratch. Same ingredients, same recipes and same amazing friendly service that
you might expect from such a blast from the past. You will also appreciate the 50's music playing in the
background along with the nostalgic decor throughout the place. You gotta visit this hot spot.. seriously!
