To even imagine that when PotPie first opened well over a decade ago it didn't serve any actual pies considering it's in their name. Well things have changed quite a bit since and PotPie has truly come a long way as they now serve up some of the best comfort style foods found in Kansas City. The two famous pot pies that you need to look for are their classic Chicken Pot Pie or they award winning Braised Beef meal. Both are excellent choices for any first time visitor to PotPie, and will have you coming back time and time again as was our case. Hearing about their appearance on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, we immediately packed up and made our way to Missouri, and it was one heck of a dining experience which we still treasure to this very day. The aroma here at PotPie is memorizing with the daily prepared Pie with the perfect crust make a mark for everyone. PotPie has a very refined yet simple menu which you'll fall in love with, just as we did. Without question, this is the go-to spot for a one of a kind Bistro setting which is serving up All-American and classical French comfort foods. The owners make it crystal clear that it's not about them but about the customers, community, food quality and over dining experience which is why they are far above anything else nearby. PotPie is a fantastic spot which will steal your hear from the first visit.
