Queens Comfort in Astora NY is truly ultimate in comfort food when visiting the Queens area. There is no question about that statement and we approve with a full stomach and a smile each time we swing by Queens Comfort. Queens Comfort actually just opened a few short years ago in 2011. Once at Queens Comfort, you'll experience a funky and eclectic vibe and menu which will satisfy your hunger and culinary desires. The owner of Queens Comfort has always dreamt of appearing on #DDD and n ow his dream comes true and all the success that entails. Once at Queens Comfort, the two highly suggested menu items from our personal experience include their Down By Law Chicken Sandwich which is drenched in their signature homemade Bacon Jam. Or, the Atomic Fireballs which are your moms classic Macaroni and Cheese rolled up in to Deep-Fried, Bite-Sized Mac balls which are spicy, juicy and never dry. Queens Comfort is truly a spot to explore a bangin' menu that you'll enjoy with every bite from first to last. Fun fact, when you watch the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode which Queens Comfort appeared on, at the very end the owner wonder proposes live to his girlfriend. However, as we sometimes are forced to do - we must report that this location is no longer in business and has closed down permanently. In 2020 after just 9 years of service, this NYC brunch favorite was forced to close as told by owner Donald D’Alessio. He also is confident that he will return with another spot, so fingers crossed and we'll let you guys and girls know as soon as we hear anything.
