About (SOB) SOUTH OF BEALE
One of the few and rare gastro pubs that we actually put on our list here, and for good reason. At SOB, the menu is truly
extremely cheap which makes it attainable and affordable for all to enjoy. Considering the low price tag, it's actually got
some of the best dishes in the nation as well. One of the most unique items we order from SOB is their tasty Jack and Coke
Bread Pudding. Yes, truly unique and an absolute must when you arrive here. In addition, take a good look at their Duck
Fried Rice which is yummy. In addition to the standard breakfast, lunch and dinner options - they also have a wonderful
late-night section which has in recent trips become our favorite. Also, keep in mind that these folks have two locations
in Memphis including their 5040 Sanderlin and 345 S Main spot. Other unique and well worthwhile options here include their
Chilean Sea Bass, Braised Short Ribs, Vegan Burgers, ever popular Soul Bowl, Catfish, Zaka Bowl, Maple Bacon Brussels
Sprouts and plenty more. As you can see they have a nice blend of classic and new dishes for you to try. Amazing service
with reasonable pricing for freshly prepared, in-house dishes that will make you smile.
