About THE STOCKYARDS SMOKEHOUSE & LARDER
We all love a family diner and many us are also big fans of a great BBQ joint. Therefore, what better creation then a medley of
both dining concepts such as this amazing place in Toronto, the Stockyards! The folks at Stockyards have truly created an amazing
comfort style food haven for many of us true foodies with menu items such as their official Stockyards Fried Chicken Dinner. In
addition, their masterpiece of the Bacon, Arugula, Tomato Bat Sandwich is a winner, and finally the champ of all champs for the
handhelds - the Butter Burger is truly one of a kind. However, since our visit those many years ago, it has been brought to our
attention that the Stockyards Smokehouse and Larder on St. Clair West, had closed it's doors in late of 2022. After several rough
years especially due to the pandemic, they were no longer able to stay afloat. They will be missed and we surely hope that perhaps
in the near future they can give it another go as there truly was no other place in Toronto to match. Some other favorites of ours
as we reminiscence about the Stockyards was their massive portions of side Fries, Veggie Burgers which were always 5 stars, BBQ
Beef Brisket Sandwiches and more. It was truly a one of a kind incredible local restaurant with a very loyal following.
