Watch episode 'You Can Say That Again' in season 7
Locations Guy Fieri visits in the USA - Places to eat comfort home-style, healthy, gourmet & fast food meals!
The owner of this establishment was once an established filmmaker back in her home country of Haiti. She
decided to make her way down to Florida and open up this amazing diner that has been serving for generations.
Explore Haitian cuisine such as Malanga Fritters and the Marinated Pork that is a staple back in her homeland.
A vibrant atmosphere with an inviting theme that will please and satisfy your hunger cravings. However, in
our last visit back in 2019, we were saddened to find out that this spot, after 24 amazing years, have closed
their doors for the final time. Truly, there is no other place in Miami with such life and excitement as
far as we're concerned. Just walking by the life sized mural at the entrance sets it apart from any other
diner in the district. Some have even gone so far as to describe this legendary restaurant as the
"Versailles of Miami's Haitian community" and we have to quickly agree. There were some upcoming issues with
regards to a nearby hotel construction which would disrupt the water and power supply.. simply not
acceptable for a functional restaurant. We are extremely saddened, but highly recommend you browse
our Miami or Latin cuisine categories to find the next best alternative. Tap Tap Haitian, you will be missed.
