Watch episode 'Signature Twists' in season 11
It's these locations that have well over a hundred years of history that grab our attention. Not just for the interesting historical aspect, but
for the great food that has kept the doors open for a century. Experience some amazing meals here including the French Quarter classics such as
the Jambalaya and Blackened Red Fish! But, once again we are saddened to announce that The Old Coffee Pot, after an incredible 125 years of
service, has closed down. They built up their reputation and popularity in the area mainly due to their Cajun and Creole breakfast specials.
It appears that an appearance on the top hit, Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back, featured this spot and showed the signs of wear and
tear which ultimately led to the closure. For a short period, a new spot named Cafe Beignet took over the location, however we have also found
out that this new venture in the iconic spot has also closed down, permanently. For so many years, 1894 to be specific, this placed has warmed
the hearts of those looking for a great meal, amazing service and a welcoming atmosphere that made you feel like you mattered. While there
are many new spots in it's place, you'll be able to find some amazing New Orleans classics nearby no doubt.
