In 2015, the creation of The Spoon Trade came to existence thanks to the heart and dedication of
Jacob Town, Brooke Town and Patrick Bergseid. This spot stands out amongst many others as it takes to heart using fresh and local ingredients
and the old-time method of hand-making all the foods offered. Nothing is frozen or generic here, you will always get the highest quality, locally
sourced and made with the true love of food and sharing it with the community. Vegetables are picked daily, breads are baked in-house each early
morning, pasta is made from scratch and so on. The presentation of each meal is also a delight and a piece of art. You can see that the chefs
truly care about each dish and their customers. The flavor profiles in each bite are simply amazing and each dish is as unique as it should be.
The menu evolves with the seasons and available fresh ingredients but some standout for us were the Cheese Bread Pudding, Sage Sausage with
Dumplings, The Fried Bologna Sandwich, Braised Duck Ramen, Halibut, Avocado Toast, Ratatouille, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Waffles, Cauliflower
Soup, Vanilla Custard and more. Also, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options are offered here so be sure to inquire if you have any specific dietary
preferences.
