Uppercrust in Gainesville is one of the best Bakeries we've had the pleasure to visit in 2025 and we
are genuinely thrilled that Guy Fieri has recently made his way here to feature these folks on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Uppercrust had their
start in 1981 and moved to their current location in 1986 to meet the rising demand. Current owner Ben carries on the tradition of Jacqueline
"Jackie" Dufty and has truly made the place the success it is today. The daily fresh aroma of baked breads and pastries truly steal your heart.
They also double as a gourmet market for you to shop at and stock up your reserves at home. We make our way to this cafe and enjoy a treat or two
with a cup of coffee, while taking a few bagfuls of goodness to go. Lots come to mind but some favorites of ours include the Carmelized Fruit,
Chai Latte, Raspberry Croissant, Cinnamon Rolls, Guava Chaussons, Artichoke Barigoule Rose and more. Check these folks our, it will make you smile.
